Last weekend, I enjoyed a slice of the Côte d’Azur right here, in the centre of Lausanne. We escaped the blistering cold Winter Saturday to enjoy a morning at The Lausanne Palace. We made our way downstairs and spent a couple of hours blissfully relaxing in the spa and followed this with their latest brunch concept “Marché de Nice” in the “Côté Jardin.”
Personally, I loved the concept and for those who suffer with gluten or lactose intolerances or those who simply enjoy healthy brunch options, then this is the place for you!
Enjoy a selection of cold mediterranean dishes such as mussels, prawns, sardines, focaccia and salads to start.
Next make your way to the hot food counter where I highly recommend you ask for the bouillabaisse ( it is simply delicious).
End your brunch with an array of mouthwatering desserts, select anything from fresh berries to melt in your mouth chocolate tart. (Don’t skip the cannolis though! YUM!)
And if desserts aren0t your thing then there is always cheese because what kind of brunch would it be if there wasn’t any cheese!
Brunch is served every Saturday from 12h00-14h30.
CHF 68.- along with a glass of rose or pastis
