We took a direct ferry across (500 baht per person) and it was definitely more like being put on a packed bus than a nice leisurely journey across the waters.<\/p>\n<p>However, the South of Ko Lanta, where we stayed, was very quiet and relaxed. Don&#8217;t miss out on the ice cream, it is delicious. I think we ended up going there 2 or 3 times in the space of a few days! We saw some of the most beautiful beaches and clearest waters on this day trip.
