{"id":7908,"date":"2018-06-29T11:00:51","date_gmt":"2018-06-29T09:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/turkey-chili\/"},"modified":"2021-04-28T20:56:54","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T20:56:54","slug":"turkey-chili","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/fr\/turkey-chili\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey Chili"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-355 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/itsasarathing.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/01\/screen-shot-2017-01-02-at-21-03-40.png\" alt=\"screen-shot-2017-01-02-at-21-03-40\" width=\"599\" height=\"454\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/screen-shot-2017-01-02-at-21-03-40.png 599w, https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/screen-shot-2017-01-02-at-21-03-40-300x227.png 300w, https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/screen-shot-2017-01-02-at-21-03-40-370x280.png 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px\" \/><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Serves 5\/6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>750 gr of minced turkey<\/p>\n<p>900 gr of tinned tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>1 beef stock cube<\/p>\n<p>1 chopped onion<\/p>\n<p>1 garlic clove<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp of tomato pur\u00e9e<\/p>\n<p>1 red or green or yellow pepper<\/p>\n<p>10 mushrooms<\/p>\n<p>1 can of kidney beans<\/p>\n<p>(Spice quantity is up to you \u2013 I put quite a lot in)<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp Ground cumin<\/p>\n<p>3 tsp Ground coriander<\/p>\n<p>3tsp Ground paprika<\/p>\n<p>3tsp Ground cayenne pepper<\/p>\n<p>Fresh coriander to garnish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SLOW COOKER OPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you have a slow cooked, add onion and garlic to the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>Brown mince and then add to the onions and garlic.<\/li>\n<li>Add the tinned tomatoes and put in the stock cube.<\/li>\n<li>Add the tomato pur\u00e9e and spices.<\/li>\n<li>Put on high overnight to cook.<\/li>\n<li>Turn it off in the morning but add the mushrooms, the peppers and kidney beans.<\/li>\n<li>Taste before serving and add salt and pepper to your liking.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with coriander and enjoy we had it with quinoa,&nbsp; guacamole, jalapenos, fresh tomatoes, greek yogurt, more coriander and if you wish a little grated cheese J<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>SAUCEPAN OPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Add a little oil (olive or coconut) to the saucepan.<\/li>\n<li>Cook onions and garlic until soft.<\/li>\n<li>Add mince and cook until browned.<\/li>\n<li>Follow steps 3 &amp;
