I recently discovered the deliciousness that is the Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl. My first experience was at<a href=\"https:\/\/onapoke.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Ona Pok\u00e9\u00a0<\/a>in\u00a0Zurich and I was like right, I need to try this at home. What I love about this dish is its versatility, you can use salmon, tuna, tofu, prawns, the base can be composed of basmati rice, sushi rice, black rice and then the toppings are endless ! Edamame, mango, pineapple, radish, cucumber, onions, avocado. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7909971608976956323_IMG_7857.jpg\" alt=\"The Healthiest Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl\" class=\"wp-image-11817\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7909971608976956323_IMG_7857.jpg 683w, https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7909971608976956323_IMG_7857-600x900.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7909971608976956323_IMG_7857-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/7909971608976956323_IMG_7857-370x555.jpg 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recipe for the Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Serves 2 people<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For the salmon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>220g\u00a0salmon cut into even-sized cubes\u00a0&#8211; (I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coopathome.ch\/en\/supermarket\/meat-fish\/packaged-fish\/packaged-fresh-fish\/froyas-supreme-salmon\/p\/4677181\" class=\"broken_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Froyas Supreme Salmon<\/a> from the Coop)<\/li><li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0low sodium soya sauce<\/li><li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0rice vinegar<\/li><li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0lime juice<\/li><li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0sesame oil<\/li><li>1\/4\u00a0tsp\u00a0red pepper flakes\u00a0(optional, if you like some heat)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For the base:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>200g uncooked black rice (well rinsed)<\/li><li>350 mls of water<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The toppings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1\/2 mango chopped into cubes<\/li><li>200g of cooked edamame <\/li><li>1 avocado sliced thinly<\/li><li>1 carrot cut into ribbons with a vegetable peeler <\/li><li>Slice of lime to garnish<\/li><li>Sprinkle of sesame seeds <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Take all the ingredients for the salmon and place them in a bowl. <\/li><li>Cover and place the bowl in the fridge for at least 2 hours.<\/li><li>Cook the rice in a rice cooker if you have one, or if not cook following the instructions on the back of the packet.<\/li><li>Once the rice is cooked, take a bowl and layer the based with the rice.<\/li><li>To one side, place the cubes of salmon and use the remaining marinade to cover the rest of the rice.<\/li><li>Add the garnishes across the rice, decorating it as you wish. <\/li><li>Finish the Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a slice of lime.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy ! x<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahungryblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/8931414366251437648_IMG_7879-2.jpg\" alt=\"The Healthiest Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl\" class=\"wp-image-11821\"\/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am going to share my version of The Healthiest Salmon Pok\u00e9 Bowl below and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
